Jess holds an Undergraduate Degree in Zoology and Geography as well as an Honours Degree in Geography from Rhodes University. She has completed her MPhil in Environment, Society and Sustainability (UCT), and her half-thesis explored university student food security at UCT. Jess joined SLF in January of 2018, her main role within the organization is as project manager in 2018 for the Bucket Loads of Health project (BLH). In her spare time, Jess loves playing the cello.
